CAPITULATING ADOPTION.

According to Women Aid Organization “ 100 million homeless children living in the streets around the world. 250,000 children die every week from diseases and malnutrition.

2 million children are objects of sexual abuse - child pornography and demand for child prostitutes has increased globally. 10 million children are child slaves and many others are being orphaned as their parents die of AIDS related illnesses”.

Facing all these hindrances to child and social development the world isn’t ready to open up and embrace adoption as an alternative for solution. People are still engulfed in the stereotype of appraising biological births over adoption. Thinking miles ahead our time adoption could be a way we can circumvent this homeless children problem and its effects into giving children a chance to a family, security and a life.

But this solution faces an unassailable setback that is infringed and empowered by social structure systems of beliefs and cultural perspectives. We should come to a place of consensus as the society to not let negative socio-cultural stereotypes cloud our intent to help other people. If we can invest in some of the luxurious and non-essential things therefore we can definitely start slow in investing on a child’s future.

First, we need to sink in the idea that our common ground is humanity and so biological linkage or non-biological linkage doesn’t define us but Love does.

This can be done through our every day lives accepting adoption as normal parenting path by educating people about it and speaking it through out communities. Letting children in schools, foster homes, orphanages and in the society as a whole know that they are all equally loved and thought of, that it is not a matter of being a biological or adopted child for you to be worthy of life and acceptance.

The knowledge spreading will definitely increase awareness and the ability to concede with the whole adoption idea. Proceeding legally to collective initiatives like adoption into child social care centers and education centers then move to personal adoption measures of accepting particular child or Children into families. Adoption can be a great way to help reduce poverty, increase peace, man power and protect human rights.
