KILIMANJARO.
A child of color and flame
A pride of your mother and courtesy of your father
Grow wise Kilimanjaro.
The world is a threshold
To love, escapade and tranquility
Also to,
Evil, forsakenness and mayhem
Be keen who you let in and guard your heart Kilimanjaro
Your mother sleeps with uneasiness
From the daunting dreams of your absence Kilimanjaro
So seek the world but seek it with vigilance.
A person is complete with an origin
Living starts with where you come from Kilimanjaro
And is stamped significant with embracing your heritage
Always, remember the roads leading home child.
Delight in who you are
It was built by the roots from trees of your homeland
Appealing to many you are but let not that delude you
Acclaimed by many you are but let not those deceive you
You are “Wa Kwetu”, An ordained one of the lands.
Fly about Kilimanjaro but Home makes us whole.
